ASC Soapworks has donated over 1800 bars of soap to the Inn Between since 2020!
That's about one bar for every bar we sell! We feel that living a clean life should not come with economic status. Therefore, we are very involved in the local community and love providing high quality soap to people who may not be able to afford it on a regular basis. The Inn Between is a non-profit here in Longmont that provides supportive housing and promotes stability to diverse homeless families and individuals through utilizing community resources, advocacy and life skills training. Having lived in Longmont for over 20 years, we've raised our children here and been active in various community support activities. We have known people throughout this time who have been in need and have been able to take advantage of the wonderful community resource that is the Inn Between. We are proud to be able to give to this community through our passion and desire of bringing all natural soap and body care to the greater neighborhood we call home - all free of common, everyday chemicals found in many cosmetic, beauty and body care products.

These soaps are...
- A miscellaneous hodgepodge of our bar soaps, culled during periodic inventories.
- Different sizes, and may include soap ends, novelty or full sized bars.
- Soaps that did not sell well, for whatever reason.
- Artisan varieties that are fading in their colors (a side effect of using only All Natural colorants)
- Soaps that have lived past our quality control standards - may just be old (these will last forever in the shower!), or maybe they have obtained what we call DOS, or dreaded orange spots (this phenomenon occurs over time with certain fragrances or if a soap was stored out in the open for too long, especially in humid weather).
- Where our family pulls from when looking for a new bar! Nothing wrong with them, still terrific soap, just a little on the ugly side.
People come from all walks of life and a $10 bar of soap isn't always in our budget. Everyone should be able to afford a good bar of soap! With that being said, we would like to extend this generosity on a couple of different levels.

- You can "sift through the box" so to speak, before we give them away to organizations in the community, allowing you to purchase these bars at a discount.

Soap Ends Only Three Sizes - $6.00/$12.00/$24.00
When making soap we have a bit of excess whenever we cut them into bars. Sometimes these are literal "slivers" about 1/8-1/4" thick, off the end of a loaf, sometimes they are corners that just aren't that pretty, sometimes they may be odd shapes, especially for some of the artisan series soaps that are cut according to design, and not to the typical 4 oz. shape. These ends are typically not super old, but will be smaller in size.

Bargain Bars $4.00 Each
Full sized bars that don't pass our quality control standards, for any of the reasons stated above. When a new batch of a variety gets made, the old bars get thrown into the box, and generally it's not because of appearance, but just to freshen up the stock and make room for storage.

Mixed Bag of Bargains Three Sizes $7.00/$14.00/$28.00
We will create a blend of Bargain Bars and Soap Ends, trying to get an equal amount of each and throwing in some novelties (critters, out of season shapes) if we have them available.
