ASC stands for Almost Sisters' Creations - a name born from a friendship with Heidi Bates, a college friend who first got me hooked on handmade soap.  What started as a shared hobby between two Colorado State University biochemistry grads grew into a business we launched together in 2009.  In 2012, we each followed our own creative paths, and ASC Soapworks became its own thing, carrying the name forward.

I'm Taralyn - owner, soapmaker, and the person behind every batch.  My biochemistry background meets my love of making things by hand, and the result is soap made the way I'd want to use it myself:  no dyes, no micas, no unnecessary additives.  Just clean, simple ingredients that are good for your skin and gentle on the planet.
